Like the stories we had heard, we waited all day for the key to our house. We almost didn't get it at all on closing day due to some confusion with a lot line on the land survey. In the end we got the key and the house was ours!
Our parents came to see the new place and brought thoughtful gift baskets.
We celebrated with champagne and pizza. Classy combination, I know.
And once everyone had left, this happened.
